About Our Team

Our facilitators have a wealth of business and training experience, each spanning over 20 years. With a few MBAs under the belt and the ability to speak multiple African languages, our team have a passion for business and people development. We have run workshops in varied environments from leading business schools such as the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB), and Duke CE, to management and sales teams as well as shop floors throughout Africa.

Nick Denoon-Stevens

Nick has been in corporate facilitation for over 25 years and has run his own consulting business since 1996. His specialises in developing managerial business acumen and decision-making skills, using immersive business simulations and tailored application exercises. Together with Duke CE, Nick creates bespoke solutions and simulations for different managerial levels and client needs. His business and financial acumen simulations also develop critical thinking, business decision-making, basic accounting, operations management and supervisor development.

Nick has a fresh, high-energy style of facilitation and has a passion for simplicity. Delegates emerge with a practical understanding of business and how they can improve their company’s money-making process.

King Costa

King Costa has an MBA and a Ph.D in leadership. He is a Management Scientist specializing in Leadership & Management Development. He spends most of his time supervising and coaching Masters and Ph.D. students on research methods. He recently presented at a 4th World Conference on Qualitative Research in Portugal. He is an accredited assessor and Services SETA constituent assessor for Generic Management Qualification 59201.

Nick and King have worked together since 1995. King speaks multiple African languages and facilitates the supervisory and business acumen workshops for shop floor staff.

Zaar Mabuto

Zaar is a facilitator of change in organisations through people.

She has over 22 years’ experience as a Strategic Transformation Executive within the customer relationship management, operations, business growth and learning & development arenas.

Her roles within the past 12 years having been focused on planning and directing operational activities that contribute to reducing company costs and increasing profit while enhancing the company’sservices or products. She is passionate about business transformation leveraging people, processes, and profit-making. This includes a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing individuals to unlock their potential.

Lisa Linfield

Lisa Linfield is a personal finance expert, keynote speaker, course creator and host of her podcast Working Women’s Wealth. Lisa is a board Certified Financial Planner (CFP), is CEO of a wealth and investment management business Southern Pride Wealth, has two honours degrees (one in Financial Planning) and has studied at Oxford, Insead and London Business School. She has over 20 years of financial services experience in the UK and South Africa. She’s been featured in Forbes, Thrive Global, Contemporary Business, Investing for life and other podcasts. Her goal is to teach 1 million women about money – how to make money, invest it and protect it.

Andy Brown

A polished, dynamic and accomplished Coach, Speaker, Facilitator, Motivator specialising in Leadership Development, Living and Leading Change, Emotional Intelligence and Sales. He has over 23 years facilitation experience in numerous industries and on all levels, both locally and internationally.

Chris Dykes

Chris Dykes has an MBA from the Wits Business School where he was awarded one of the Top Student Awards. He was a finalist in the national Rising Star Awards programme, a programme recognising excellence across multiple industries, in 2012, and in 2013. Chris has also been awarded the President’s Award by Rotary South Africa in recognition of his contributions to community development and he has been an active member of the South African Mountain Search and Rescue Team for many years. Chris also runs study skills workshops for school and university students, and has amazing pass rates to validate his methodology.

Chris’ passion for people development, experience and qualifications make him a world class facilitator of our management level business acumen workshops.
